Hi Honey, I’M HOME!!
So, it’s been a hella long time since I’ve updated this blog. BUT, i have good reasons…I’M TRYIN’ TO RULE THE WORLD!!!
My efforts thus far have been pretty good, but these last couple months I’ve REALLY found my stride…rather than go into a looong talk about it all, I’ve attached a pic below to see some of the stuff I’ve been up to.
You can also check out the NEWLY revised home site: www.jeremytheartist.com to see EVERYTHING I’ve been working on!
I plan, PLAN to post here regularly now..at least once a week with finished projects, tips, and more “step by step” drawings, from sketch to finish!
I also have a video blog in the works that will give tutorials on how to draw just like me.
. well kinda like me. hopefully not all like me..because then I’d be outta work!
Hope everyone is doing great, you can also add me on Facebook to catch more updates: www.facebook.com/jeremytheartistguy
Take care now!

Daily Doodle, part of Charlie Chaplin’s speech in “The Great Dictator” (1940)

daily doodle AND new talking head pic
sorry gents and ladies,
went on a bit of vacation aand just gettin’ back into the swing of things now…don’t be too mad with me….first vacation in 3 years….i promise i’ll give you more warning next time…forewarning: 2 years and 364 days til my next week off!!
so to try to make it up to ya, here’s the doodle for the day which iiii’m going to title something like “eminem meets rudolph meets demon” – was listenin’ to “no love” by eminem featuring lil’ wayne when i was doodling…..so some of the lyrics make an appearance in this piece
underneath that colorful pic is yet another colorful pic…as i make 10000 of these talking heads, i figured making my “return” from vacation, i needed a new piece..
note: i’ve “gone digital” now for the past couple months…strictly drawing tablet for everything i post up unless otherwise stated and i must say…i’m likin’ where i’m goin’.
The Cranberries “Zombie”
Emo-Zeus.
Daily Doodle. “Creep”
“ello there old friends…miss me?
suffice to say, keepin’ up with the plethora of social networks and such that i’m on is a much more difficult task than can be imagined…but i promise i’ll try to be more of a good boy from now eh?
also, add me on facebook: facebook.com/jeremytheartist , twitter: @thetoonman, i post regularly on both these suckers so if you’ve been missing me, you can get your fill of my wit and cheesy jokes there!
so last i left you i was about to engage in zombie art war fare…needless to say it went VERY well, and now i’m friends with the monster known as the Wacom Tablet.
i hope to start takin’ 20-30 min a day to take some time and do a doodle, which i’ll post here.
and to kick that off, here’s one for today. based on the song “creep” by radiohead (though i was listening to the homeless mustard version of it), i tried to make the piece a big darker..hope you guys like it
this was fun…let’s do this again soon shall we?
Zombie Caricatures. :D
So for those of you who don’t know, I have a zombie fan art site that I manage and contribute a lot of art too:
zombeezgalore.blogspot.com
I got into the Zombie Biz about 3 years back, started a project baaaasically to keep me busy and off the streets..well….not the streets anyways, but to keep me from dyin’ from boredom. I myspaced (yeahp, when THAT was popular) and facebooked everyone who wanted a “zombie caricature” to message me. I got a surprising response, requests, everything from celebrities to movie stars to personal caricatures..i drew somethin’ like 70 odd zombies in a month’s time. That inspired me to keep drawin’ zombies (which I NEVER drew before that project, really at all) and thus this blog was born. I initially considered this to be an annual project I’d take on every October, but if I can get a good response…I might just keep it longer..which I hope to do!!
Digital copies (facebook size) will be formatted as you see with the sample pictures below.
